This DC spindle motor type MIF132M-305 for a Kearney + Trecker machine was private labeled for ABB (BBC) by Franz Kessler. Most “repair” shops disassemble these motors incorrectly, resulting in eccentricity between the fore and aft bearing housings during reassembly. This eccentricity leads to excess vibration and premature failure.
