If the Fanuc live tooling motor type A06B-1621-B621#8AB2 in the turret of your Mori Seiki Duraturn or NT3200 machine has failed, we have the solution!
After disassembly, each component of the motor is carefully cleaned and inspected. Damaged shafts, bad pulse generators, etc… will be replaced with factory parts. Damage to the tooling track in the casting will be repaired and machined to be like new. The failed windings are removed with a mechanical stripping process that ensures no damage to the lamination stack, such as can occur when failed windings are “burned out”. Check out our winding process for more information. Our Epox-E-Pak insulation system matches the original Fanuc “epoxy mold” and is necessary for this motor to function properly without overheating. After precision balancing and assembly with new bearings and O-rings, the entire assembly is pressure tested to ensure the integrity of the cooling jacket. The pulse generator is checked and adjusted, and the motor is run-in to 10,000 rpm. The motor is run at full speed until bearing temperatures stabilize, and vibration readings are checked a final time.
No one can offer the same level of comprehensive service these highly specialized live tooling spindle motors. Contact Endeavor Technologies about rebuilding your Fanuc motor type A06B-1621-B621#8AB2 today!
