Servicing your AMK or AMKmotion DH13-155-4-AOF motor
Rest assured that your AMK or AMKmotion motor will run correctly, and last like new because:
- Factory specifications were followed during assembly and testing.
- The motor has been completely run tested using AMKmotion controllers.
- Rotary encoders have been correctly programmed, installed, and aligned.
- Brake assemblies have been replaced, or refurbished and torque tested.
- Rotors have been dynamically balanced.
- Magnet rotors have been properly evaluated, and replaced or rebuilt when necessary.
- “A” type encoders sensors have been tested, replaced when necessary, and accurately adjusted.
Rebuilding your AMK or AMKmotion DH13-155-4-AOF motor may require replacing the shaft if a bearing has failed catastrophically. This may also be required if the output shaft has broken or become badly worn. To expedite delivery, we stock complete new shafts. The experts in our machining department will precision grind all the critical diameters to factory tolerances.
If the motor winding has failed, our winding department will rewind it with class H insulation. This is done while carefully observing the original factory winding specifications.
Completely tested
After adjusting the encoder or resolver and verifying the assembly accuracy, your AMK or AMKmotion motor type DH13-155-4-AOF will be run through a break-in period. Our test stands utilize AMKmotion controllers so that proper operation is fully verified. Learn more about our testing procedure.
