Rated for 15000 rpm, the A06B-0965-B901 is a built-in, liquid cooled spindle motor utilizing ceramic hybrid angular contact bearings. After carefully inspecting your A06B-0965-B901 and determining what parts are required, we’ll work with the Mori Seiki distributor to supply factory original parts. If a new winding is required, we will duplicate the factory winding right down to the special Hitachi lead wire, stocked only here at Endeavor Technologies. We can even upgrade the winding with our Epox-E-Pak insulation system to better protect it against contamination and extend its life expectancy. High speed motors in demanding applications such as the A06B-0965-B901 require that nearly all surfaces that capture bearings—shaft diameters, bearing bores, bearing retaining caps, etc… are precision ground to tight tolerances to minimize run out and vibration in the assembled motor. Endeavor Technologies has the capabilities in our machining department to refurbish these parts to like-new condition when replacements aren’t available.
After dynamic balancing and assembly, your built-in motor A06B-0965-B901 will be run in to full speed with our simulator that has provisions for liquid cooling, and oil-air lubrication of the bearings. The motor is trim balanced and full vibration spectrums are recorded, along with bearing temperature readings, shaft TIR and other mechanical assembly details.
