Endeavor Technologies is pleased to be able to offer to rebuild your Mitsubishi DC spindle motor SDN-MFZ. You might think that repairing a DC motor doesn’t require any special expertise, or that the shop you use to repair standard electric motors is capable of servicing it. You might be right, but unfortunately we’re often asked to troubleshoot motors that have been repaired elsewhere. Often this is because of mistakes made re-winding the fields/interpoles/compensating coils.
Endeavor Technologies has the factory winding data for many of these motors in our files, and has access to any others. Your SDN-MFZ motor will be evaluated to determine if it is faulty before being disassembled for evaluation. Whether your SDN-MFZ motor has a failed armature, shunt fields, motor shaft, or just needs a general overhaul, Endeavor Technologies will send you a written estimate detailing the work scope and cost. If your SDN-MFZ motor is in particularly bad condition we may recommend that you retrofit the machine tool with an AC motor and drive from Mitsubishi Electric Automation. Endeavor Technologies won’t simply “repair” your DC motor type SDN-MFZ, we’ll completely rebuild it to manufacturer specification for a new motor.
